First idea for Vans window. Fast sketch just after visiting the shop and it's surroundings.

Vans shop is located in totally chaotic and messy place, surrounded by all type of shops,bars, attractions,various colours,materials. It is almost invisible because of mess around it. My first idea for Vans window was to create a solid,white structure made of thin stripes (cardboard, paper, tape, plastic) which would freely start outside the shop (on the elevation or pavement) and then get inside where create a structure (solid in total look but with holes showing interesting parts of the shop). The stripes can be also treated as exposition place for Vans products.
